The 2010 Cleveland Browns are looking to improve on their 2009 record of 5-11 and are looking to new head coach Eric Mangini and new Team President Mike Holmgren to help get them back into the playoffs last seen since 2002.
In the offseason, the Browns released QB’s Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn and signed veteran QB Jake Delhomme as well as backup Seneca Wallace. The team also drafted the most successful QB in NCAA history, Texas’ Colt McCoy. Despite Holmgren’s affinity for the West Coast Offense, and despite the hiring of Wallace and Delhomme (both familiar to the West Coast Offense), the franchise insists that they are not changing to the scheme.
Look for the Browns to rebound and make a push for the AFC North title chase.
